Concrete Equipment & Supply recognizes its responsibility to the environment and in doing so, we continue to make significant steps to reduce our environmental impact and that of our customers and suppliers. In the past year alone, C.E.S. has implemented a direct email service to deliver monthly statements and invoices to customers thus reducing mailings by more than 5,000 pieces per year. In addition, most internal paperwork is now archived to a hard drive backup greatly reducing our use of printer paper. Customer checks are deposited using our "Remote Deposit" system reducing employee trips to the bank. Lastly, we have just completed construction of a solar power system at our Silt location, enabling our main facility to operate on 100% solar generated electricity.
